Dr. Odin Waite
Board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Odin Waite grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and graduated with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2007. He then moved to Los Angeles, CA and obtained his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California – School of Dentistry in 2011. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, an honor that is bestowed upon the top 12% of the graduating class.
He began his career in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Miami, FL in 2011 at the third largest hospital in the United States: Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, a worldwide referral center for facial trauma, pathology and reconstruction. He also received extensive training in dental implants and bone grafting at the Miami Veterans Affairs Hospital, in orthognathic surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, and in pediatric general anesthesia at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, FL. Since 2016, Dr. Waite has been working in private practice. He began his career working alongside Central Minnesota’s pioneer in advanced dental implant techniques, including, immediate implants with immediate temporary restorations, all-on-4 hybrid prostheses with immediate loading, sinus lifts, connective tissue grafting, as well as ramus grafting and ridge splitting for alveolar ridge augmentation.
Dr. Waite now resides locally with his wife, Jamie, and their two elementary-aged children. He enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has particular interests in office based general anesthesia, dental implants and bone grafting, dental extractions, facial trauma, pathology/reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Waite loves to spend time with his family. He is an outdoors man and loves fishing, camping, running, and skiing.
